Gianmarco Cherchi was the Keynote Speaker of WSCG 2025 in Pilsen

Gianmarco Cherchi was the Keynote Invited Speaker during the 33rd International Conference on Computer Graphics, Visualization and Computer Vision (WSCG) that took place in Pilsen (Czech Republic) on 27-28 May 2025.

Gianmarco talked about the world of volumetric meshes, and in particular hexahedral meshes, in a talk entitled “Robust Hexahedral Meshing with Grid-based approaches”.

Gianmarco’s talk summarized the outstanding results in the generation of grid-based hexmeshes achieved in recent years together with his colleagues Marco Lives, Enrico Gobbetti and Riccardo Scateni.
