Jacopo Mereu is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari, Italy. His main research interests are XR technologies, AI & Large Language Models, and Data Visualization; currently his focus is on creating creating smart agents for authoring interactions within Virtual Reality Environments. He began working during his master’s degree at the project VMXR, a Proof of Concept environment with the idea of allowing people, without programming experience, to create and configure product showcases in a Virtual Reality setting.
