The FIATLUCS (Favorire l’Inclusione e l’Accessibilità per i Trasferimenti Locali Urbani a Cagliari e Sobborghi) project aims to improve accessibility for disabled individuals in urban areas of Cagliari and its suburbs.

The project DAMOCLES (Detection And Mitigation Of Cyber attacks that exploit human vuLnerabilitiES) aims at providing a framework for the digital defense of Italian PAs from security incidents caused by human errors. This is achieved by applying vulnerability prevention and mitigation techniques tailored to employees’ behavior. The framework is grounded on two main pillars: the Human Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) and Human Vulnerability Mitigation (HVM).

The project aims to empower end-users to create XR content autonomously by developing an End-User Development (EUD) methodology. This involves three roles: Element Builders (EB), professional developers providing pre-defined XR elements; End-User Developers (EUDevs), users without programming skills who compose and configure elements; and XR consumers, the final users. EUDevs will use an authoring tool to specify object interactions in natural language sentences, with guidance from an intelligent Conversational agent. The system will be validated across various domains (virtual museum, smart home, training) to demonstrate its generality and undergo empirical user experience evaluation.

The “Metropolitan Digital Fabric Project - TDM” is a research, development, and training project that aims to study and experiment with new smart solutions to improve urban attractiveness, resource management, citizen safety, and quality of life.

Event-Condition-Action Rules for all. The ECARules4All project aims at developing a Unity plugin for enabling end-users without programming experience to modify the behaviour of an XR experience through event-condition action rules, defined in natural language.

Novel building Integration Designs for increased Efficiencies in Advanced Climatically Tunable Renewable Energy Systems.

Point-and-Click for Environmental and Cultural Heritage. The project is about a tool for supporting end-users in the development of point-and-click videogames based on 360 degrees videos. It aims specifically at people without previous experience in game development and coding. Users can easily create scenes, add simple objects such as transitions or switches, connect scenes to each other and define the game rules. The tool is developed as a part of PAC-PAC, a project for promoting cultural and environmental heritage through videogames.

The main objective of the D3-P2 project is to study a authoring system for immersive digital content, supporting its creation and editing through web technologies. Through this support, users without specific knowledge of 3D, virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) can create presentations that use advanced interaction devices, now available for the mass market.

The aim EmILIE (sEnsing ImpLicit Input and Emotions) project is to coordinate a set of sensors of consumer level, to support proxemic interaction with the different devices, also determining the user’s emotional condition. In this way, applications will opportunistically exploit the estimated values, increasing the device capabilities by sharing information.
