Michele Faedda is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari, Italy. His main research interests are Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing; currently his focus is on creating new algorithms that use boolean operators on surface meshes, for example, to the differences between two meshes that are generated in two subsequent modelling steps. He began working during his master’s degree on the project Mesh Diff, which aims to find and show the differences between two surface meshes through boolean operators.
