SIGCHI Futures Summit

The SIGCHI Futures Summit is an event organised by ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI) to brainstorm and chart the changes they would like to see in the why, what, who, and how of HCI knowledge production. We participate as organisers of the upcoming EICS 2024.

The summit took place at the Politecnico di Milano facilities from 15 to 17 February 2024. The discussion covered different topics and issues related with the SIGCHI activities and conferences organisation, including how to manage the resources for sustainability, inclusiveness and safety, open access publication, hybrid formats for conferences.
