Two accepted papers at IS-EUD 2025

We’re excited to share that two papers from our lab have been accepted at IS-EUD 2025 – the 10th International Symposium on End-User Development!

This conference brings together cutting-edge research that empowers users to shape their digital environments. Here’s a glimpse of our contributions:

🧠 Conversational Rule Creation in XR: User’s Strategies in VR and AR Automation

Alessandro Carcangiu, Marco Manca, Jacopo Mereu, Carmen Santoro, Ludovica Simeoli, Lucio Davide Spano

This paper explores how users express automation rules through natural conversation in XR environments. Through studies in both VR and AR, we highlight user strategies, challenges, and implications for designing chatbot-based interfaces for end-user development.

🛡️ Leveraging EUD and Generative AI for Ethical Phishing Campaigns

Bernardo Breve, Paolo Buono, Loredana Caruccio, Federico Cau, Gaetano Cimino, Giuseppe Desolda, Vincenzo Deufemia, Rosa Lanzilotti, Lucio Davide Spano, Cesare Tucci

This work introduces DAMOCLES, a platform combining EUD and generative AI to design ethical phishing simulations. The aim is to raise cybersecurity awareness, especially in public sector contexts where human error is a major vulnerability.
