Federico Meloni is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari, Italy. His main research interests are Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing and Human-Computer Interaction; currently his focus is on creating new algorithms for automatically generating volumetric meshes and generating maps between them. He is the tutor of the PR1 (“Programmazione 1”, Programming 1) course at the University of Cagliari, previously he was the tutor of the VGD (VideoGame Design) course at the same university. He began working during his master’s degree at the project AR TutorialKit, an Augmented Reality Toolkit to Create Tutorials in Unity, and at the project Advancing Volumes, which aims to generate volumetric meshes automatically and create maps between them.
